At HR Tech Europe in London you were spoilt for choice on the latest tools and devices for recruitment, development, talent mobility, referral, and more. But VidCruiter, with their revolutionary approach to video recruitment, caught our eye. Ruth and I caught up with Marie Claire Poitras, Managing Director of VidCruiter Europe, to find out more.
The VidCruiter team acted as a sponsor for HRTE by funding and monitoring the popular phone charging towers. The three of us took a break from the buzz of the event to rest our legs and find out about their tool's functionalities and developments. VidCruiter's highly interactive system says goodbye to mounds of notes on every candidate and welcomes what looks to be an exciting next step for recruitment. Video interviewing is personal, simple, and creates reliable data that can be analysed and repeatedly referenced. Despite being a technological process it maintains “human” interaction. Employers get much more of an insight into a candidate in terms of their body language, manner, and dialect, as well as a feel for whether the individual would be right for their team.
